The Brief: Our client based in Saudi Arabia needed a large characterful family house sitting in the middle of roughly 100 acres of land located within an easy hours drive of Mayfair so that she could gather up all the family and have fun weekends together outside of London. Privacy and security were very important as was the requirement for garage parking and separate staff accommodation. The location had to be well served by local restaurants and country walks.

The Solution: Several areas to the north, east and South of London were considered, visited and then rejected on the basis of slow, complicated driving routes through town and the suburbs of London. We focussed the search on Oxfordshire and specifically Henley and found a quietly located house just a 5-minute drive from central Henley which had a great plot of land with a centrally located house accessed via a long sweeping tree lined driveway.
